State Highway 2 is one of the most important roads in the country, particularly the Remutaka Hill Road. It is vital for the economy moving through the country. As Mayor of Upper Hutt, we support any investigation into options for replacing or improving the State Highway 2 Remutaka Hill Road. We need to be future proofing and looking long term and we support work to be done in this area.
