"The upgrade of the Rimutuka Road to a faster and safer connection between the Wairarapa and Wellington is way overdue. It needs to be priority 1 as there is hardly a day that there is not a serious incident on the current windy and narrow road. Gather as many submissions and signatures to convince NZTA and the government to bite the bullet. Make it a toll road and seek private partners to do whatever is required to fast track the project."
