We agree that the Remutaka Road needs to be included in the Government’s list of Roads of Regional Significance and that a study is undertaken towards a new alternate route. Our family use the hill road frequently as family live throughout the Wairarapa and the Hutt. We would wholeheartedly support an alternative route as we have seen many accidents and been sat in traffic for hours on the hill because of these accidents.
