I think it is vital for both resilence and for the economic prosperity of the Wairarapa to improve the transport infrastructure - both road and rail. Infrastructure can be an excellent long term investment, so having a comprehensive study of the options for an alternative route and the cost benefit analysis of those would be very welcome.
