I have been travelling between Wairarapa and Wellington for work for more than 30 years, a permanent solution to significantly improved or sensible alternate route needs to be actioned with priority. Both of my sons use the hill daily for their work and I have concerns for their safety and ability to return home to their young families every time the sirens go up calling the Featherston volunteer fire brigade to attend yet another accident on the hill. It needs to stop.
