We moved over 8 months ago and Commuting each day to Lower Hutt for day to day operations of the business. We love it here such a beautiful place! The hill... It's crazy to think people have put up with this road for so long. If you ask me its a ticking time bomb. The billion dollar price tag sounds like a massive figure but what about the forecasted and to date costs of keeping the road going with all the slips that happen and will continue to happen. When will the Gov say that's enough and shut it like they did the George. Seems like a no brainer to me look how much the Kapiti expressway and TG has added to the west, It's crazy to think that the Government are happy to pour money into a goat track rather than look at updating the entire road..
